Okuma North Pine Kayak Round

Native Watercraft Kayak Series 2
North Pine Dam, Queensland
18/05/2018 to 20/05/2018

For a first time in history B.A.S.S. Australia Nation in alignment with Okuma is heading to a location that is distinct with history of extra oversized bass and huge catch number, Lake Samsonvale (North Pine Dam) for the 3rd round of the Native Watercraft B.A.S.S. Australia Nation Kayak Series.

This incredible location has for a long time only ever been open to the membership of the Pine Rivers Fish Management Association (PRFMA) and has had an incredible amount of stocking allowing the bass to grow huge making it a world class fishery.

This is the first type of tournament allowed on the waterway, and with the good help from the people of the PRFMA, we will be running this event from the PRFMA Boating Permit area.

This is your chance to fish one of the most incredible bass lakes in the country, get access to a location that many dream of fishing and compete for major prizes like the Native Watercraft Slayer Propel as seen in season one.

This is a specialised event, and therefore comes with specialised conditions, including a maximum cap of 40 anglers, and some distinctive no-go zones, so if you are interested in fishing this event, get on board quickly and read all the details with care.

Pre-Fish Ban - As this is a closed lake we are extending the Pre-fish ban by two weeks. Monday 23rd April 12.00am - 18th May (6:30am) - (BLACK OUT PERIOD - DON"T SEND ANYONE OUT TO PRE-FISH DURING THIS PERIOD AND DON'T HIRE ANYONE TO SHOW YOU LOCATIONS LIKE A FISHING GUIDE, DISCUSSIONS ABOUT THE LAKE WITH ASSOCIATES, FAMILY AND FRIENDS IS PERMITTED) - You can also join the PRFMA and practice before this event.
