BERKLEY B.A.S.S. AUSTRALIA NATION YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP

B.A.S.S. AUSTRALIA NATION YOUTH
LAKE SOMERSET
20/01/2019

The Berkley Youth Championship is back and again we are heading to Lake Somerset for the mega sized bass, for little champions. This is one of the best events of the year, with plenty of give-away prizes and plenty of fun to be had by all.

Just get 2 kids together and one adult to supervise and we will have a single session, 4.5 hour shoot out on the Sunday morning, let’s see who can bring in the biggest 4 bass limit and largest kicker of the tournament.

All kids will get an Garmin shirt at the event.

We have 2 age groups setup: Ages 7 to 13 Years, Ages 14 to 18 Years old. Each competitor will be fishing in a team and the total limit of fish will be 4 bass per boat, and the anglers will be classed into the group of the oldest angler within the team. For example if there is a 16 year old and a 13 year old on the same team the team will compete in the 14 to 18 years old team section.

Lake Somerset, Queensland has proven to be the premier fishery for record breaking events over the past years and this event should see some great fish caught. The close location to Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast will able families to have a great day out.
