In clinical form Craig Griffiths and Karim De Ridder of Team Humminbird/EJ Todd claims the Garmin Rockhampton Rumble presented by Sunline & Lucky Craft by 294cms over Team Bass Mafia/Strike King in an absolute display of supremacy. Fishing mostly right in the middle of Rockhampton the pair put together comfortable bags each morning before taking off to upgrade spots located through the system.

Fishing tight to cover up towards the 400 area, the pair used Jackall Transams and Lucky Craft Pointers across the rock bars to catch barra consistently over each morning, and in some cases had their limits in a very short period of time.

Big Barra right in town.

1

Craig Griffiths with another winning performance.

Jon Millard and Ethan Farrell from Bass Mafia/Strike King deployed a totally different tactic, travelling away from the town limits for around 30-40 minutes and working their way back with tide using the Strike King 5 inch Swim n Shiner soft plastic lure. Catching upwards of 20 barra per session the only problem the pair had was finding kickers in the bottom end of the system.

Ethan Farrel with a solid out of town barra.

1

Jon Millard with another top 3.

Rounding out the top 3 was Colin Brett and Steve Lill of Lucky Craft/Edge Rods who managed a 21/25 limit fishing the town centre between the bridges using multiple soft plastics including the ZMan 4 inch Swimmerz, Lethal Lures Barra Slayer, and Jackall Transam.

Steve Lill with a solid 3rd place.

On day two Colin and Steve caught a huge amount of barra near the rail bridge.

The Garmin Big Barra was landed by Rocky Refrigeration/Bass Mafia and came in at an amazing 109cm, which was caught in the middle of the town centre, near the train bridge.

Shane Day with a cracking 109 Rockhamptn City Barra.
